What is the fee for your service?
Practicing Physicians - $750
Residents and Fellows - $500
(checks, money orders and major credit cards accepted)
When do I pay?
We do not require full payment to begin this process for you. Simply email or fax us your CV and we'll get to work immediately.
How long will the process take?
Typically the process will take anywhere from 2-4
months. This
of course varies from doctor to doctor and greatly depends on your background
and complexity of your application.
What will Georgia Med do for me?
Georgia Med will handle the bulk of the work associated with
applying and receiving your GA Medical License. This includes, but is
not limited to:
- Type and prepare the ENTIRE application along with most of the forms and requests.
- Prepare you a detailed checklist of required supporting documents that must accompany your application for licensure.
- Provide you with valuable assistance and advice on how to handle any “special issues” associated with your application for licensure.
- Hand deliver application to the Georgia Board of Medicine.
- Maintain constant contact with the Georgia Board of Medicine on your behalf.
- Keep you informed and updated as to the status of your application.
- Hand deliver any and all additional supporting documentation to Georgia Board.
- Make follow up calls and inquiries, on your behalf, regarding all 3rd party supporting documents being mailed directly to the Georgia Board, including requesting duplicates if necessary.
- After official Board approval, we will continue necessary follow up until license number is issued.
